Konrad Meyer
Konrad is part of JAB’s Restaurant platform leadership team, helping guide strategy, performance, and long-term value creation across the firm’s global restaurant platforms.
Konrad brings more than 20 years of experience in private equity, M&A, portfolio and executive management. At JAB, he led transactions in the buildup of our restaurant and pet-service platforms and served as Chief Financial Officer of Panera Brands and Interim Chief Financial Officer of Pret A Manger. Previously, Konrad spent 10 years at Waterland Private Equity, a pan-European midcap growth investor, where he built out its German activities. Earlier in his career, he was the Co-Chief Executive Officer at Organisationsforum Wirtschaftskongress (OFW) e.V., responsible for organizing the world’s largest student-run business congress and the Head of Business Development at beTVeen.com AG, a leading service provider in the early streaming services sector. Konrad started his career co-founding AllInsite, a location-based web service, at the age of 17.
He serves on the Boards of several JAB companies, including Einstein Bagels, Panera, and Pret A Manger.
